yeast and appetite

Has anyone ever heard of a child refusing to eat because of yeast

overgrowth? I know it can make you crave sugars, but does it ever

make you just not want to eat at all? I don't think zinc deficiency

is a problem in this case.

thanks

I know when my daughter was having her worst yeast die off she didn't want to

eat for a few days. She was very lethargic, feverish, and even threw up. It also

caused diarhea. I imagine I wouldn't want to eat either. Our doctor suggested

activated charcoal or 1/4 tsp of baking soda to help absorb the toxins released

by yeast die off. Might be worth investigating. If there is a refusal of food,

there's definitely a reason. Hope this helps.

For my son, if/when he has yeast, he overeats. For me, if the yeast

is NOT in my head, I tend to crave carbs. If it is in my head, I just

want to curl up and die. The thought of eating, or anything else for

that matter, is nasty. [Lots of GSE works for this!]

Dana, what do you mean by yeast being in your " head " ? This might have

been covered before, but could you expand on it once again?

Thanks.

Causes a nasty headache, major nasty, nasty, nasty, nasty.

Did I mention the headache is nasty?

I will say it again, a yeast headache is NASTY. I should have written

this in capital letters. NASTY NASTY NASTY NASTY.

I wonder what is my point LOL

Nitrates and MSG also do this. Unfortunately, the only thing I can do

for those headaches is wait the three days it takes for them to go

away. Those headaches are NASTIER. NASTIER NASTIER NASTIER.

Nitrates are the NASTIEST. [insert appropriate capitalized comment

here.] I avoid nitrates like the plague, only moreso. Plague would

probably be better.

At least for a yeast headache I can take LOTS of GSE. I am not

kidding, LOTS of GSE [like 50 drops along with No-Fenol enzyme every

hour for 3-4 hours].
