Guest guest
Hi, I'm currently giving my 62lb son 50mg per dose TD DMSA 4 hourly. He is very lead and mercury toxic and we have now just about got his yeast under control. I'm very keen to add in the ALA but am not sure whether this will cause the yeast issues to raise their ugly head? Also if I'm using TD DMSA should I stick to TD ALA or would it be ok to use oral, and if so at what dose? With many thanks
Guest guest
Hi , Although TD-ALA is available, most people here use the oral form. Your decision would depend on your particular circumstances. It seems to me that it would be easier to use both oral, or both TD, but doing one of each would certainly be possilble. Some people get more yeast with the ALA, but again, it varies from individual to individual. Be prepared, and it shouldn't be too much of an issue. I've no idea for the dosage of TD-ALA but for ALA you should start with 1/8 to 1/4 mg/pound and you can work up to 1/2 mg/pound at the maximum. See Moria's file: http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/Andy_dose_sched.html#dosage Remember that ALA is every three hours. My son is on both DMSA and ALA and we're sticking with 8 mg DMSA and 10 mg of ALA for now. He weighs 34 pounds and has been chelated about 25 rounds. If I weren't doing a viral protocol I would increase the dose slightly. I hope this helps. Anita > > Hi, > I'm currently giving my 62lb son 50mg per dose TD DMSA 4 hourly. Guest guest
, if your child is mercury toxic, you need the ALA. It will causes yeast but it is manageable and really worth it. You could use either TD or oral. If you decide to go oral with ALA, then maybe you could switch to oral DMSA too. That would make your life easier as you can give the oral DMSA and ALA together every 3 hrs. Does your child tolerate orange juice or pineapple juice? You cannot taste the DMSA if you mix it with these juices. > > Hi, > I'm currently giving my 62lb son 50mg per dose TD DMSA 4 hourly.
