Anne,

If you want the opinion of someone who is completely confused by all

of this, read on. I'm not sure it will be in any way helpful.

Chelation helps 75% of our kids, yes. But it doesn't recover 75% of

our kids. Most of them need much much more. And some of them don't

even need chelating. If your son is responding so well to the

antivirals, I think you're wise to pursue it as far as you can.

What that might look like, I'm not sure.

My personal opinion is that for many, many people, the natural

antivirals are actually more effective than the valtrex. I read a

lot of Rx antivirals non-recovery/non-improvement stories. Having

said that, Andy points out that the Rx and the naturals work through

different mechanisms. Perhaps if you plateau with the naturals,

adding in an Rx would be wise.

My philosophy for the viral protocol I'm about to undertake, again,

is that I will follow through until I don't have any more doubts. I

hope that it doesn't mean putting off chelation, because I know that

my son is lead toxic, but the huge reaction he had to the few days

of viral protocol we did tells me that he is also poisoned with

these bloody viruses and quite frankly they scare me just as much as

the lead. I can't think of many things that would stop me from

chelating, but a good chance at dealing the viruses a strong blow

would be one of them. I realize that if our kids are too metal

toxic, then eradicating the viruses completely may not be possible.

This may have to be a back and forth thing if it cannot be a

simultaneous thing.

This isn't very helpful. I'm sorry.

Wishing you some certainty,

Anita
