I like Advanced Biocidin.

Have also used Grapefruit Seed Extract, and also Olive Leaf Extract

successfully.

Also other recommended alternatives to meds for yeast control.

You need refrigerated acidophilus.......I use Primadophilus, also Nutra

Flora has a good product. Yogurt has acidophilus, but also has sugar from

the milk which defeats it's purpose.

FYI...I'll second that. I started the Primadophilus a few months ago, and

really like it. One of the group members recommended it. I was taking the

Primadophilus first thing in the AM, but decided to move it to my afternoon

vitamin time - starting today. I was concerned that I was taking it too close

to my AM abx time. Around noon today (prior to taking the Primadophilus), my

stomach started rumbling and rolling, then I had bad diarrhea pains. I took my

Primadophilus, and all was well again. Considering I'm on 2 different abx, the

Primadophilus really does a great job. I rarely have diarrhea or stomach

problems associated with the abx...Tom

Hi

My son is not as prone to yeast as many, but we use Candex and S.

Boulardii to successfully keep yeast in check during chelation

rounds, dosing at night on an empty stomach (easy to do, since we

just put it with the night doses of ALA/DMSA). When yeast gets bad,

though, I do use GSE, usually in combination with an enzyme-based

yeast fighter like Candex or No-Fenol, and it seems to have an

immediate effect. We're very fortunate.

I think most people have a number of yeast fighters in their arsenal,

so you may want to stock up on several. The Candex and S. boulardii,

unlike many other antifungals, are very mild tasting. This was

important for us, as our boy is very averse to strong tastes. If

your little one tolerates probiotics, use a lot of them.

take care

René
