Guest guest
I think you need to lower the dose if he is that toxic and start very slowly. I assume you are doing the 3 hours during the day/4 at night 3-day cycle? Make sure you are mineralizing, mineralizing, mineralizing during chelation and on the off days. Barb [ ] Help!! Guest guest
Mineralize during chelation? Do you mean during off days only? Guest guest
Carie, I would agree that you need to lower the dose of chelator. Remember that Andy explains that twice or three times as much chelator doesn't mean that twice or three times as many metals are being excreted. Using a much lower dose might make your son a lot more comfortable and the possibility of continuing chelation much more plausible. My son gets 6 mg each of ALA and DMSA per dose and we worked up to that over 6 rounds. We just finished round 10 and I have no intention of increasing it for some good while. He weighs 32 pounds. About the GSE, Dana is the expert, but I started with 1 drop morning one. 1 drop morning 2, 1 drop evening 2, and built up from their to 4 drops three times a day. Be sure that you are giving high count probiotics AWAY from the GSE. And be giving lots of them. I'm not sure about the food thing, but if someone is having yeast overgrowth, they will be trying to feed that yeast the sugar it wants. I've had yeast problems before and I would daydream about chocolate bars. This may explain some or all of the eating. Yeast might also explain the night waking/not sleeping problem. Are you following Andy's recommendations for supplementing during chelation? They are in the supplement file. From all reports, chelation can be very uncomfortable without proper supplementation. I'm sure that other people who have experience with viral issues will help you, but I do know that there are many people who have dealt with both simultaneously. I would recommend IMO that you try to get the yeast, supplementation, and lowered dosing things worked out first if you feel that they are issues. Good luck, Anita > > My sons total toxic representation is all the way across the page. > scoring approx 98% toxic in alluminun, antimony and tin. 85% toxic in > arsenic, 65% toxic in mercury, 55% toxic in lead, etc.. Guest guest
Sounds like he would benefit from digestive enzymes and probably probiotics. It doesn't matter how much one eats if the body can't digest it properly. Many on this list use enzymes from HNI. Have you identified and reduced/removed sources of exposure to the arsenic, mercury, and lead? I presume he has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings and hasn't gotten any vaccines since you started chelating... Guest guest
She means daily whether or not you are chelating. Give minerals during chelation and after your round is complete. Guest guest
C.F., Is your son having bowel movements? Everything you described sounds like one of my sons when he was very impacted from chelating. If he is impacted you could clean him out with enemas/suppositories. Two days ago I tried a new one with my son. It's a Fleet liquid glycerine suppository for babies/kids. The only ingredients are purified water and glycerine. It worked VERY, VERY well within 1/2 an hour. It worked so well I had to give him an emergency bath and break out the steam cleaner for the carpeting. And as soon as it all came out he was like a different kid, my nice boy was back and he isn't craving food all day long. Good luck figuring this out, > > My sons total toxic representation is all the way across the page. > scoring approx 98% toxic in alluminun, antimony and tin. 85% toxic in > arsenic, 65% toxic in mercury, 55% toxic in lead, etc.. For my son, this meant either he was eating foods or supplements he did not tolerate, or he had a yeast overgrowth issue. Since you are chelating, try increasing your son's yeast protocol, see if that helps. > His behaviors are so bad, they are the worsed I have ever seen, at > school, home, or public you name it. Guest guest
Thank you for all of your responses...I'll try to respond to all questions. anneecbyrnn: Yes I had his thyroid tested last year..all seemed within normal limits. I am concerned about that because hypothyroidism does run in our family.. jromkema: I was only dosing him every 4 hours, but I will start doing it 3 hours during the day and 4 at night. I give him a mulitvitamin every day that has minerals in it. It's Thorne's citrate formula Basic Nutrients III without copper and iron. It states it has Calcium 300mg, Iodine 225mcg, Magnesium 285mg, Zinc 15mg, Selenium 200mcg, Manganese 6mg, Chromium 200mcg, Molybdenum 100mcg, Potassium 90mg, Boron 3mg, Choline 100mg, Vanadium 100mcg. I do suppliment him with additional calcium and magnesium. I wonder if thats enough. mysuperteach: I must be giving him too much. I could lower the ALA to 25mg, but I thought 50mg would be ok to give. I had heard that it suppose to be 1/2mg per pound. Shepard: We had my son's amalgams removed last march. And I haven't given him any vaccines since his 3rd DPT at 6 months old. I haven't been very consistent with the enzymes I even wondered if they did any good. I've done my best in removal of exposures, no school wide flu shot program participation, went to glass cookware, put a hypoallergenic non formaldyhyde mattress cover on his bed, etc.. parent23angels: He says he has been having BM's. Sometimes they are 2 times a day. dana: I have given him the one drop, two drop GSE. But like I said nothing was happening. He can swallow pills so I gave him 125mg of GSE caps a couple of times on thurs and today. Last night I gave probiotics, but not at the same time as the GSE. I have limited his sugar intake and snacking much to his dismay. I think I'm not going to be able to do the chelation without having a specific diet along with it. I don't know which one that will be. I only know of the GFCF diet and the SCD diet. I'm still getting periods of non- compliance and goofing off behavior, but over this fall break it is starting to be managable. Today he seemed so tired and he took a 3 hour nap in the middle of the day. That never happens so I am hoping that with lowering the chelating doses this weekend and uping the yeast protocol and lowering his sugar intake he will be feeling much better. I appreciate the support...you guys really help me to refocus and by getting answers so quickly...it helps me not to panic.
