I right? This would mean that the child I have who keeps getting

warts off and on, has this virus in their system. Sometimes active,

sometimes dormant. Am I rights so far? Wouldn't it make more sense

to treat the virus internally, rather than keep freezing the warts at

the doctors? Obviously topical treatments do not get rid of the virus.

Can antivirals get rid of it? Can the be natural or should they be

scripts?

none have come back either :)

It has been awhile but I have seen others talk about this. Someone used Olive

Leaf Extract...but you are right about the viral theory. Definitely check the

archives if someone doesn't chime in here. I don't know the particulars but do

remember the discussion. Good luck!

I am going by the knowlege of viruses and logic here but definitely

open to correction from those with any experience in this. And what

antiviral would work on the HPV strains?

Dear Jan,

TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) can treat warts and other viral

conditions successfully. I'd like to post you an internet web site

that you can use to explore the topic...the clinic is based in

London, but I have found the website does a particularly good job of

describing conditions and diseases and methods of treatments. It

provides a good basic overview of TCM and lists specific herbs used

in treatment; it also lists the efficacy of TCM herbal trials.

http://www.hnmrc.net/index.shtmel

Click the search bar, search for condition or disease, and for search

term type " wart " ...efficacy is very high.

I am presently using TCM for my daughter's (7) asthma and my son's

(5) autism. We have also needed to use TCM herbals for colds and flu

recently. It has helped tremendously. We have had no adverse

reactions. I gave some TCM herbals to a friend for a bad cold and

she shared them with her ASD son's para...they worked very well and

my friends have decided to restock their medicine cabinets with TCM.

I use Dr. Zhengang Guo, www.liferising.com based in Chicago. We do

phone consultation and I receive the herbs by post. My friend asked

for GFCF remedies that use corn starch for her ASD son.

I believe that TCM could effectively solve the issue of warts for

your son and strengthen his immune system. I suggest trying a cold

or flu remedy for yourself (which would illustrate the herbs

abilities to resolve viruses) and see how you feel to evaluate the

safety and efficacy of TCM.

They are viral. I don't know the specific virus tho.

My own warts have disappeared with OLE. Some people have recently

posted that their kids' warts have disappeared with Virastop enzyme.

Yes, definitely consider giving oral anti-virals for warts.

My sons both had chronic wart problems for some years which only came back

when frozen off or chemically burned off. I eventually cleared them

up giving vitamin A orally. My recollection is that you need to give

100,000 units per day for a month but that didn't work for my oldest son

until I upped the dose to about 160,000 units per day. Because of his

genetic disorder, he doesn't absorb things well and typically needs 1 1/2 to

2 times the dose of vitamins, nutrients, etc. I mention that because leaky

gut and other gut issues are so common for folks on this list. So if

100,000 units per day does not work, I would consider upping it. I think I

also kept him on it for 6 weeks instead of 4 because his warts were so hard

to cure.

Using vitamin E topically or orally also helps but was never enough for my

son. Using vitamin E in addition to vitamin A seemed to boost the efficacy

somewhat.

My son (5 y.o. ASD) also has warts. I never knew that skin warts were caused by

an HPV strain of virus. I asked my DAN Dr to test for virus issues but said

there was really no good test but did prescribe valtrex.

Will Valtrex do the job? Are tests available to test for particular viruses?

Valtrex has helped my daughter's bowels quite a bit. Her stools have darkened

and firmed

up...after five years of diarrhea. Lots of probiotics (coconut kefir) has

helped, too.

Just a correction of information: It is actually the HSV virus that

causes warts. One of the many strains. They all cause different

things. Thanks for the link!
