Guest guest
Dana, What have you observed as a response to virastop? We began about 3 weeks ago @ 1 per day. Approx 1 week ago I increased the dose to 2 per day - target is 4 per day. As soon as I increased the dose A rash appeared on chest; small pimple type erruptions without exudate that neither itch nor bother. No fever, malaise beyond the usual etc. Just the rash. We've done olive leaf ext in the past. She just can not tolerate it-lots of neuro irritability that puts her close to seizures. The lauricidin produced no long term effects and seemed to exacerbate yeast. Guest guest
, I gave my son some olive leaf extract w/ 20 virastop a day and Jack went to school and had a gran mal seizure for the first time(he has had petit mal in the past). I think it is probably related some how because my sons herpes virus resulted in a brain tumor years ago and for the first time has showed seizure activity in the area of the tumor but no tumor growth. We upped the seizure meds but my next step is IVIG. I am contiunuing w/ the virastop nne > > > Kieran has a runny nose, both him and his brother have red ears, > and > > we have > > > just felt his forehead, and yes, wouldn't you know it, he has a > > raised temp. > > > This happens time and time again, big improvements (not usually > this > > > dramatic) in functioning when pyrexial. > > > I know it is felt that this phenomenom is often indicative of > > underlying > > > viral issues (we have first Dr Heard appt. next week), but I > > wondered if anyone > > > had any idea of the mechanism believed to be behind this. > > > > > > The elevated temperature is the body's way of fighting off the > virus > > issues from flu. Slightly increased behaviors, which really increased when I added back the olive leaf extract to the ViraStop. Today I am removing the OLE because it is causing regression, and just keeping the ViraStop. We began about 3 > weeks ago @ 1 per day. The first time I did anti-virals, my son developed a rash at about the 10th month, which lasted about a month and was the virus leaving his body. We've done olive leaf ext in the past. She just > can not tolerate it-lots of neuro irritability that puts her close > to seizures. OLE appears to be like GSE, once it is no longer needed, it starts causing problems for my son, I am guessing because it is anti-bacterial as well as anti-viral. >>The lauricidin produced no long term effects and seemed > to exacerbate yeast. Yep, it sure does. Dana

I've found ViraStop to be the same way. Nell
