No. Calif Dr to prescribe LDN ?

Hi All,

I have NHL ( non-hodgkins lymphoma) I have had 8mos of chemo ( R-chop) and ( FND-R). I have had a Stem Cell harvest in prep for a transplant. The NHL is follicular with agressive tendencies. The best results from treatment are a partial remission...I know the dr.s are going to want me to do the stem cell transplant...I have been trying to get my oncologist to perscribe the LDN...August of last year he said he would after wwe tried the FND-R so that we would know whether the chemo worked or not...well the chemo put me into partial remission...so he said lets wait till after the stem cell harvest in Jan 07...well in Feb 07 I asked him for the script annd he said" I don't think we should untill we research all the long term side effects..." is this guy crazy...almost all of the chemicals in CHOP and FND have listed "black label warnings" for serious LIFE threatening long term side effects ie. the chemo will eventually kill you. I was flabbergasted and speechless and told him I would get him the info on Naltrexone...I have an appt on the 30th. I am pretty sure he wont give me a script so I am looking for a possible source in Northern Calif. I live in Redding Cal. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions....
