Guest guest
I am using very low dose DMPS every 8 h. I do think that there is a slight diuretic effect with me. Not enough to cause accidents, just a bit more frequent. If this is bothersome the thing that I can think of to do would be to decrease the dose. Guest guest
Because his last " on " day is Monday, it seems she is having the most problems on Monday, decreasing by Friday. Sounds almost like the TD-DMPS is causing him to retain fluid, possibly, then by the last " on " day, and when he's " off " , it comes out more??? Guest guest
My son has had this on DMSA also from time to time. This would make sense if the accidents happen mostly during the round and shortly after, and decrease near the end of the " off " period. He's got the diarrhea classic bacteria overgrowth now, and that was confirmed by test as Pseudomonas aeruginosa. However it's not beyond the realm of possibility, and I eagerly await our next test. Guest guest
DMPS makes children pee more and since most toxins come out in the urine...this is a good thing. I actually have to change my 2 year olds diaper during the night or it leaks! > > Our boy's teacher supports our decision about chelation, but has > brought up the following: > > " In terms of the chelation, I was more curious as to whether there was > a diuretic of some kind in it.
