I don't know of anyone who has tried it, TD(transdermal) LDN would

have to be a trial basis but one of our well-known reputable

compounding pharmicists feels it is worth a try to see if less

stiffness occurs. Make sure the formulation is obtained from Coastal

Compounding in Savannah, GA or it may not be correct and absorption

could be too slow. You want fast absorption and Coastal Compounding

has the correct formula to do just that.

Thanks . Has no one out there tried this? If not, perhaps the

pharmacy folks know how it's been working.

1. it has to be made correctly.

2. >99% of people reporting side effects report vivid dreams, sleep distrubances.

3. we use the aforementioned s/e as gold standard for absorption.

I have had an extensive background in transdermals. I believed for the longest time that td LDN was just not the way to go . My friend Larry from the compounder convinced be that I was wrong.

Go to someone who knows how to make the td. The folks on the LDN homepage list should be your starting point.

I have tried the transdermal LDN now for 3 weeks. One

thing I noticed is that you can sleep better on the

cream, but my stiffness is still there. I really felt

taking the transdermal cream that it wasn't working

right. I wasn't having trouble falling asleep and not

dreaming. I switched back to the pills and bingo, no

sleep and major league dreams again. I can't prove it,

but I feel the transdermal cream doesn't work as good.

That's my opinion. Thanks

Actually this might be a good sign. Aren't MS'ers trying the TD LDN

an aim and hope to reduce some of the adverse effects of oral LDN?

Nice to see that sleep issues have subsided with TD LDN, over time

the stiffness may subside and then again it may not, that's why it's

called trial. There are many adults using TD LDN with various

diseases with success. Who knows, TD LDN may be the answer to

someone's insomnia or vivid dream problem...may help one person and

not another but one will never know unless they try it. Sort of like

trying or not trying LDN, if you don't try LDN you'll never know if

it will help you or not.

Give update in a few weeks and let us know if the TD LDN is keeping

you from progressing like the oral LDN. Do you feel worse on TD

LDN, like maybe it's no halting progression?
