fyi, my doc told me that doses over 1 mg of melatonin can create more

problems, side effects. the research i've done is that only 0.5mg melatonin

is needed for sleep, and recommended by dr jacob teitelbaum (who wrote the

book on chronic fatigue). i took my melatonin about 2-3 hours before

bedtime. Pure Encapsulations makes a 0.5mg melatonin with no fillers.

i've had serious problems myself from too much melatonin, including

depression (which is very unusual for me) and extreme grogginess in morning,

which was made much worse with interaction of scutellaria (became extreme

sedation and suppressed breathing at night).

i've also had severe ice-pick headaches from chlorella and had to stop it.

i hope you find a healthy balance to support your son.

peace,

kendra

Thank you for all the ideas. My dr. recommended Sam taking 2 mg of

melatonin before bed and then 1/2 when he wakes in the night which last

night helped a little. He is going to have another stool analysis

checking for paraistes, bead bacteria.

She recommended chorella for a green type of food to give him becuase

his body is very acidic and he eats no veggies. I thought I read

somewhere that it isn't good to take? what do you use for a green

food. IS chorella safe? thanks again,
