Guest guest
Wow, this sounds like very possibly a kid who reached his " toxic tipping point " after his kindergarden shots???? Can you go to the nvic.org website and find out how much mercury he's actually gotten in his shots? Also, check the files of this list--there's tons of information you get you started reading. Guest guest
, Sorry if I'm repeating here, but I'm very behind. Did your son receive antibiotics around the time he started experiencing problems? Some kids who are already toxic regress with the addition of the problems antibiotics cause? Have you addresses yeast and bacterial issues (has your son had an OAT from Great Plains Lab for example?) Have you considered supplementing? Two places you might find some ideas for this are: http://www.discover.com/issues/may-05/features/vitamin-cure/ where there are no answers but some theories that might lead you in the right direction. Or here: http://www.danwebcast.com/ Where you can watch a video for free by Dr. Stoll that talks about omega 3 therapy for manic depressive/depressive people. You are in the right place to help your son in my opinion. The thing is very few of our kids are simple: I wish it were only chelation, or only a few supplements, or only a change in diet. For many kids, it's a combination of these things and more. Try to read the information in the files section and keep asking questions. Guest guest
.. Sorry about the delay in writing back. I work full time and haven't been sleeping well. Ok.. I'll see if I can answer all these LOL in the order you asked. What vaccines or dental work did your son get around age 5? No dental work. Vaccines were: DTP, Polio, & MMR Does he have any mercury amalgam dental fillings? No dental fillings at all. What's his diet like? He's on a very restricted diet, high calorie intake, no gluten. Health shakes, no chocolate (Causes him to esculate into fits of rage), no caffiene. Did he appear to develop typically until age 5? Yes. Are you a Rhogam mom? No Is he verbal? Very, can't get him to stop talking, repeats phrases 50+ times Have you tried supplements? Yes, from A to Z it seems. Probiotics? Digestive enzymes? Not yet, but looking into. Ok.. think I got all that answered. Had a doc run tests for copper and other metals but all came back within norm range or not present. I'm just sooooooooo tired of doctors telling me what they think is wrong with him or the famous phrase " He's working himself into a new diagnosis " Well just tell me what it @#$%^ & * is so we can treat it because 6 yrs has taken it's toll on him and the family. Sorry.. vented some..
Guest guest
Anita.. Whew.. so many questions coming from everyone.. Here is the answer's to those you asked. Yes he was dealing with chronic sinus infections. zythromax Have you addresses yeast and bacterial issues (has your son had an OAT from Great Plains Lab for example?) no Have you considered supplementing? Yes, been doing so for 6 yrs now
Guest guest
, Comments (and a few more questions) interspersed. I was trained as a journalist, by the way, does it show? :-) S S <tt> ..<BR>    Sorry about the delay in writing back. I work full time and haven't <BR> been sleeping well. Ok.. Yikes, but not unusual. DPT triggered my nephew's autism. Does he have any mercury amalgam dental fillings?<BR> No dental fillings at all.<BR> *Good! Don't let him get any. What's his diet like?<BR> He's on a very restricted diet, high calorie intake, no gluten. Health <BR> shakes, no chocolate (Causes him to esculate into fits of rage), no caffiene.<BR> *Has he been tested for allergies? What's in the health shakes, have they changed the ingredients recently, and how long has he been drinking them? Did he appear to develop typically until age 5?<BR> Yes.<BR> *This points to the vaccines. Was he on the antibiotics when he got the vaccines? Did he have specific reactions after he got " shot " ? My nephew had 3 days and nights of inconsolable screaming, for example. Are you a Rhogam mom?<BR> No<BR> Is he verbal?<BR> Very, can't get him to stop talking, repeats phrases 50+ times<BR> *Does he have useful communication or just ecolalia and scripting? Have you tried supplements?<BR> Yes, from A to Z it seems.<BR> Probiotics? Digestive enzymes?<BR> *I would definitely look at those. Particularly the probiotics since he was on antiobiotics for a long time. Many on this list (including myself) use HNI enzymes but there are others out there, too. Look for plant-based ones. Guest guest
Hi , Saw your answers to also. According to Shaw and other researchers, antibiotics often play a key role in autism, and a number of other issues (asthma, learning disabilitied, etc). Yeast overgrowth and the bad bacterial overgrowth that can accompany it can do pretty bad things. I would encourage you to consider a yeast/bacterial protocol which would include LOTS of high quality probiotics. You can start that even before you get answers from an OAT should you choose to run one--they can be enormously helpful. I would not have guessed my son had bacterial issues without the feedback from the OAT. OAT results will suggest which antifungal might work best. Saw that doctors have run metal tests on your son. Most doctors would only order tests that would look for recent exposure. Your son may be suffering from some sort of ongoing exposure to antimony, etc, like most of us are (we just deal with it differently) but if he is mercury poisoned, that mercury was injected long ago and would not show up on the kinds of tests most docs run. I hope this helps, Anita > > Anita.. > Whew.. so many questions coming from everyone.. Guest guest
>>no chocolate (Causes him to esculate into fits of rage), no caffiene. Chocolate is high amine. Check out the amine links here http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm > Very, can't get him to stop talking, repeats phrases 50+ times This is viral for one of my kids. Try giving anti-virals. Lauricidin, olive leaf extract, ViraStop, etc. Dana

Consider implementing a yeast protocol http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm In my family, sinus infections are from yeast, not bacteria, so giving antibiotics would have made them worse.
