Guest guest
NOREEN - that's what i was thinking, also. AIDS is an immune defiency disease; so therefore, the usual dose of LDN would be suggested!! marshirisGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com. Guest guest
The standard 4.5mg dose is used for AIDS, just like any other immune disease. The higher doses are used to treat alcohol and drug dependencies.
Guest guest
Great news Noreen I will save and share your story with others that come on the site with HIV/Aids. My best, Aletha from Calif. [low dose naltrexone] Good Report for LDN for AIDS Hello members, I would like to give you a wonderful report About LDN in regards to AIDS. In Dec. of 2003, I was diagnosed with AIDS after being sick for several months and no one knew why. By the time that I was diagnosed, I was at death's door. I had many of the AIDS-definging problems with CD4's at 78 and viral load over 100,000. I took the antiretrovirals, along with my alternative treatments of vitamins, supplements, herbs, chelation therapy, and proper diet. All of the above helped to get me well. In fact, months later, I was as good as new. Like most people who have been newly diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, I started learning about it. I discovered that there was a drug called LDN, which was helping AIDS person, which I immediately brought to the attention of my doctors. However, since they had never heard of it, that was the end of that. In fact, I forgot about it until over a year later I saw wonderful, environmental doctors and one of them suggested that I go on LDN. Boy, was I in shock and elated at the same time. To make a long story short, I started LDN in Jan. 2006, stopped the antiretrovirals in Mar. 2006 and I have been doing excellent ever since. In fact, I haven't even had a cold since being on this drug. My infectious doctors still follow me as they do not understand how I am doing so well but I hope in time to change their minds and open up other possibilities in treating AIDS patients. Guest guest
Roslyn, The 50 mg Naltrexone is for addictions. AIDS is auto-immune related, so that means it gets the low dose of 3 - 4.5 mg, if I understand correctly. Marcie RosGlenw@... wrote: I do not feel you mean LDN but a high dose 50 mg is used for AIDS NOT 3 OR 4.5 [low dose naltrexone] Good Report for LDN for AIDS Hello members, I would like to give you a wonderful report About LDN in regards to AIDS. Guest guest
I believe that Dr. Bihari originally prescribe 3mg doses but found that the 4.5 worked better. My doctos have prescribed the 4.5 dosage for me. I want to mention a great place to get the medication filled and that is at Skip's Pharmacy, my pharmacist, in Florida. For the lady in Italy, I think that maybe they could help you as I called them once for someone who was having trouble getting a prescription filled in Africa, and Skip Pharmacy stated that they could fill it for her. Guest guest
Roslyn, I'm having trouble understanding your post. Are you saying that Naltrexone at 50 mg is free of charge for AIDS patients but not available in 4.5 mg for MS patients??? Where do you live??? Maybe that is the difference. Just for clarification. Marcie RosGlenw@... wrote: in all the papers the reports tell you neltrexzone at 50 mg is used free for aids and people with MS can not get the low dose of 3 mg [low dose naltrexone] Re: Good Report for LDN for AIDS The standard 4.5mg dose is used for AIDS, just like any other immune disease. Guest guest
I think you must mean for drugs. The answer might be that one should become a drug attic or an alcoholic. Then one could get the 50mg and make their own LDN. And hey if it is free, all the better. In all seriousness, I just read a very disturbing site regarding the history of the USA FDA from Regan's era approving aspartame after 8 years of saying no because it was shown to cause cancer in lab rats. Once they allowed aspartame to be used they had its biggest competitor banned for use. That competitor was stated to be Stevia. If anyone wants me to e-mail them the info just let me know by sending me their e-mail address privately.
