I started LDN in February along with Humira I had a scope of my BCIR

two weeks ago and there were no signs of Crohn's. First time in 24

years! My specialist has agree to try the LDN exclusively and see what

happens.... Not sure if the Humira or the LDN was responsible. We

will see.

Hi Arron

Sounds like you are doing well !

I have Crohn's for 18years. Resection five years ago. Early March 07

I had some fistula surgery and then started taking LDN afterwards. I

have

been taking LDN for 3 months 4.5mg and my three fistulas appear to be

slowly healing. I am also on immuran and salofalk and questran

Diet too is important. Also I do not eat wheat, corn or milk

anymore :- but every one is different you need to find out what does

not agree with you.I make my own yourgurt for the good bacteria

http://www.lucyskitchenshop.com/yogourmet.html

I have porridge and flax seed for breakfast

Is anyone here taking part in the Prof Jill double blind trials

on using LDN for Crohns? I am curious when the results will be ready

since it started last year.It is only after clinical trials like will

doctors start taking LDN seriously

My GI read Dr. 's report in one of his journals and told me that

she allows the crohn's participants to be on steroids and they can

take LDN any time of the day they wish ... what gives? That's not

what I heard.

LDN for crohn's is a whole different ballgame. People with MS, RA,

cancer, etc cannot come off LDN and retain remission like many crohn's

patients can. I think allowed those who had sleep disturbance

to take LDN during the day, one doesn't get the maximum endorphin

boost during daytime hours like the nightime dose but they get some

boost, just not the maximum. Why she let people stay on immune

suppressants is a mystery to me.
