Guest guest
I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and kind thoughts during 's illness from pneumonia and the myopathies due to toxic levels of her seizure medication Depakote while she was in intensive care. While we were thrilled that tested free of seizures, and has been seizure free going on 4 months since being on nutriiveda, leaving the hospital we were told due to all went through from the toxic level of Depakote in her blood which caused myopathies, not to expect to be able to do much of anything for around 6 to 8 months. We were devastated to say the least, especially after how far had come. We held onto the good news, the only good news we had after extensive testing in the hospital. 's brain scans now show a normal healthy brain in comparison to before nutriiveda, and her doctor believes will be off all seizure medication by the end of this year. Her doctor said there is no other logical explanation than nutriiveda is somehow healing 's brain, and we believe that. We hoped once again that nutriiveda could do a bit more. When was discharged from the hospital a few weeks ago she was once again unable to do anything for herself, but this time was also barely able to stand on her own; support her own weight on her legs. She was supplied a wheelchair for her to use to be able to get to her doctor appointments and her testing that she needed to have done. We again were told it would be a 6 to 8 month recovery time for her to be back 100%, and worse, and what frightened us more than anything, we were also told that there was a good chance that would not fully recover and she would suffer additional brain damage from the toxic levels of Depakote which caused myopathies throughout her body. When we first brought home she was unable to eat nor did she want to eat. The only thing we could get into was her Nutriiveda and we had to use a syringe to get that plus all of her juice and water that she needed thru out the day as well. It was painful to watch my beautiful daughter roll back and forth on the floor, frustrated that she had no strength to stand or keep her body up. And even more sad to realize that her rolling and pushing herself to move was considered a positive thing by the doctors. After thinking of all had gone through, how far she had come from being on Nutriiveda, something we didn't even take seriously to start, but that gave us our daughter, a normal life for the first time, to watch her unable once again to do anything, say anything, even less than before, was just heatbreaking. It is one of the reasons I found it hard to update my blog for . I'd look at the page and tears would run down my face seeing the words " Real Life Little Mermaid " My beautiful daughter went through so much. It just didn't seem fair.
