Guest guest
Nutriiveda is gluten and casein free -and not your typical whey isolate protein in that most isolates are around 96 percent whey protein and this whey protein is 100% natural and just a trace amount under 100% whey protein. From what I've read allergies to whey are not common and it's the most easily digestible form of protein by the body containing all the essential amino acids we even know more about the importance of now. Was your child specifically tested for whey allergy? And if so " pure " whey? (as most contains some amount of fat and lactose) Also keep in mind you could purchase it -take it with you to the doctor to have your child allergy tested with it and if found to be allergic the product comes with a money back guarantee...and based on the feedback what if your child isn't allergic to it? Don't just give up yet...unless again you know for sure your child is allergic to specifically whey- no way around that yet. Guest guest
Thank you to everyone for sharing. I'm new to all this and have been a silent reader for almost a month now. My twin daughters will turn two next month, were both dx with CAS new year's day and are both allergic to dairy. Does that mean that nutriiveda is out for us? We started on the fish oils on 2/21 and have noticed that they are starting to babble more. I just want to make sure I'm doing whatever I possibly can. Thank you for all your help and support. Guest guest
There are quite a few children and adults on the nutriiveda that are are unable to drink milk or eat dairy. The nutriiveda is gluten and casein free and unlike most whey isolate proteins it is 100 percent natural and almost 100 percent protein with just trace amount of anything else -you can't compare it to other whey isolate proteins. What you can do is buy it and bring it to your child's doctor to test it if you are concerned as it comes with a money back guarantee -but we know proof is in the pudding and if any of the children that are not able to have dairy had issues with it -we would be hearing about it. Here is the page again from our apraxia.org group -may have to cut and paste http://www.facebook.com/?sk=messages & ref=mb#!/topic.php?uid=115029735601 & topic=1\ 3611 =====
