Guest guest
Well i just wanted to tell you all of a great recipe using NV! I usually make my girls mango lassi which is a traditional Indian drink or shake. Its very sweet and refreshing! It contains 1 can of Alphonso mango pulp which can be found in any Indian or middleeastern grocer. I like using this particular brand because Alphonso mangoes are naturally very sweet so no added sugar is needed for making the lassi. Then i fill about half the blender with ice. I add 1 cup of plain whole milk yoghurt(organic is best because the cows are not treated with harmful antibiotics). Make sure its whole milk because the full fats in yoghurt are benefical and optimal for brain development esp in kids.Yoghurt contains beneficial bacteria and probiotics thats excellent for digestion and the gut. Add the recommended amount of NV(i used vanilla flavor). Blend. Once again no added sugar is needed because it's already very sweet! You can sprinkle cardomom powder(optional) which is an added Indian spice for flavor. The girls love it! And didnt even notice a difference in taste with the NV added to it! I fixed me a glass and its very delicious! We actually drank this as a delicious nutritious meal replacement for lunch. Just wanted to share this great recipe with the group!
