Guest guest
I was speaking with the S.E.E. Center this afternoon and I realized the closest *skills workshop* offered was in Kentucky. They agreed to be willing to do a workshop in Georgia, if I could get at least 40 people interested ad also find a place to host the workshop that has at least 4 to 5 rooms to break-out into. The workshops are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (3 day weekend) and generally cost $175. If you are local, then you won'thave to rent a hotel room, and you can just drive to the location everyday. Signed English is a better option for children with neurobiological conditions that hinder speech as opposed to ASL because ASL does not use an English order. ASL is a foreign language and serves as more confusion in the brain (in regards to learning language) in those with conditions like apraxia, autism, speech delays, etc.. So, I would like to know if anyone is interested in possibly getting together for a skills workshop? I know that it would probably be May, June, or July before this could happen. But please let me know i you are interested *way* before then. Thanks,
