EMPLOYMENT & LIFE SKILLS:

Project Win Win will begin September 22nd for 6 weeks and meets 4:30-6:00pm

on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights. This program integrates functional

reading, writing, and math skills into the an employment and life skill

setting. The kids will be focusing on DJ/Karaoke/Entertainment -

Professional Video Taping, Pet Care, and Food Service/Bakery employment

settings and skills. This program is for young adults 12 - 21. See attached

flyer.

NEW PROGRAM AGES 3-6 - " I CAN FITNESS "

Pathways has combined with Kidnetics and 1-on-1 Fitness to offer a class for

younger children who may need some additional assistance and time to adjust

to playing in environments like large open soccer fields and basketball

courts that often can be more difficult and overstimulating. This class

offers exposure to basic physical and social skills and will be taught by

two instructors who are certified physical education teachers and in a

smaller group setting. Both instructors have experience working with

children having a broad spectrum of disabilities. See attached flyer.

Home Based Buddies:

This program is currently only for Montville Residents. This program matches

children with special needs with mentors who come into your home one time a

week for a playdate or to work as a homework buddy. We have two new

volunteers to help organize this program this year so we look forward to

recruiting and matching more children for this program.
