I too found my daughter to have mercury overload and feel she is doing so much

better without it. She is apraxic only so far but on the neurological spectrum

as well says, since she also has little " off " things here and there, the

neurological " soft signs " that if she were not apraxic, we wouldn't even care

about, but together they spell a clear " neurological damage " profile: hypotonic

tongue on and off when in relaxed play or very concentrated, it sticks out a

bit, used to do it a lot as a baby, but we just thought all babies held their

tongue out when excited; poor breast feeder, had to pump and take lactation

enhancing herbs to bring on milk and after that she was fine, but before she was

wasting away even though she was nursing for 8 hours straight at my breasts and

was still hungry--read poor oral motor control; slight 10 seconds toe walking on

and off throughout the day, minor SID, but much better now since on

diet/supplements; little babbling as an infant and

toddler, then the apraxia became very apparent as no words were coming out;

developed severe diaper rash--read yeast- eczema, scalp psoriasis which I

thought was cradle cap at 14 months after wheat and dairy were introduced; very

healthy otherwise, no digestive issues but nevertheless gluten casein, soy and

corn intolerant and responding great the the GFCF diet plus supplements, she was

deficient in all brain nutrients due to leaky gut malabsorption, even the fish

oil I'd been pumping into her since birth; and the latest thing the urine

porphorine test revealed mercury detoxification problems, most likely from the 5

amalgams I had during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but also from all the mercury

in everything living that's she's been eating, as grass-fed organic as it may

be, there are over 80,000 tons of mercury pored into the atmosphere in the US

alone, that we know of plus many more tons that no one knows about, and NO, the

fish oil we gave her did not have mercury as a

friend suggested--it is filtered out along with PCBs and other toxins.

So there, that's our story in a nut shell, a very typical detox problems profile

for the doctors and parents who know and the detox we're doing now is an algae

based treatment with adequate drainage support to be sure the stuff gets out and

not redeposited somewhere else or back in the brain. (, what are you doing

for your son?)

So even unvaccinated kids as my daughter can have mercury or other heavy metal

overload, some kids' bodies (genetic or what ever reason) just do not detoxify,

especially if there are other malabsorption issues present. I would definitely

recommend this test as well.

--Elena, mom to Ziana , age 3.10, severely apraxic, but otherwise a happy

healthy child and progressing very well since appropriate speech

therapy/diet/supplements have been implemented.

test to see if the child is

mercury, lead, aluminum etc toxic? Many if not all apraxic kids are,

mainstream Dr.s just had no way to accurately test so they don't look

there. This is where we should all " start " in my opinion.

You can do this one yourself, it's very new to DAN! and won't even be

known to conventional Docs - they are very behind.

cost is about 100.00 - I did myself and my son - very telling because

it is the first actual test to give you a " value " - others ie. hair

can only indicate if the child is holding or not. There is a parent

interpretation paper by Dr. Dan Rossignal in the files of the

group chelatingkids2. If you can't get a grasp on the results, you

can call Dr. Rossignals office and simply ask what he'd charge to

give you his educated opinion. Or, hire him to be your DAN! - He's a

mega brain, a bit short on personality but I don't go by charisma and

charm - I go by experience. Rossignal is a regular allopathically

trained MD - totally dedicated to the new childhood epidemics - he

is in the thick of it - he can cut your guess work down considerably.

contact@... ask for a test kit - urine porphorine
