Guest guest
Hi everyone, (cross-posted w/crsociety) Let's see, one of NASA's biggest problems is keeping bone mass on astronauts. I wonder how many millions or is it billions of our tax dollars are going into finding solutions to this boner of a problem? Surely, the Russians and US face this bone mass problem every time an astro-cosmonaut returns to Mother Earth. Time to pick-up the phone and get a line into NASA on this one. I'm tired of beating around the bushes chasing rats wearing weight vests... Let's shake NASA or our Russian friends for some answers! Maybe this IS rocket science after all??? Sorry Warren, and anyone else, if you felt I took an unfair swing at Warren. I told Warren off list... I love you. Well, I meant like " my bro " , and sometimes bros are hard on their bros. Is CR a sacred cow that can't be sacrificed??? What's the big deal about gaining weight to regain your bone health??? This is a no brainer, yet the sacred cow of CR might have to be sacrificed... Woe is me, throw and wash in the ashes, sacrifice the damn cow! Regroup, keep well, come back another day to invent a better CR deity worth worshipping... One that has bones & long life. Gods come and go. (Mythological Ok) Maybe folks are going to have to add some weight to solve this problem??? I say let's call NASA first, then gain weight if need be! ...or get Greg back in here for some serious hormone modulation... but that may not be enough. Too little too late? ...gonna have to consume some excess calories to grow some bone tissues. Methinks. Best, deVries Mental Health = EPA + DHA + O6 calories @ 2-3% of Daily Caloric Intake ( p.s. alternative " equations " are always welcomed " ..
