Me too. Inherited from my mother a wonderful ability to lay awake all night.

I use melatonin and 2 B-complex tablets about an hour before bed. Valerian

root works pretty well or a combo pill that contains Valerian, Hops, Wood

betony, Scullcap, Black Cohosh Root, Passion Flower and Cayenne.

Hi ,

Suggest you take your B's (B12, Folate, B6, TMG) in the morning as

they help to lower Homocysteine and boost SamE, which is a day time

hormone and as Melatonin climbs, SamE drops.

My youngest daughter showed signs of " something " at birth and did not sleep

as an infant. She also had major problems with her days and nights being mixed

up. She is twelve now and takes medication to sleep. She has taken

Clonidine since she was seven and once I had to give her Ambien. Her sister,

who was

diagnosed at eleven, went through a bad not sleeping stage at about eight

months but got over it. would never " cry it out " or fall asleep while

nursing or riding in the car. Lucky for her she was cute...Kelley in NV
