Guest guest
Mother necessity is a good allergen removal cookbook. A lot of the recipes involve soaked almonds though but you can pull those out if needed. She tells you why you are doing what you are and that goes far with me. The recipes have balancing bloodsugar involved which goes far with our kids generally I think. http://www.mothernecessity.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info & products_i\ d=2 <http://www.mothernecessity.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info & products_\ id=2> She suggests getting a dehydrator and canning jars with screens to soak seeds and almonds but other than that it is pretty straightforward. That may seem like a pain but at least when cooking these things you know you are covering the vitamins and minerals rather than just guessing. Plus, she lists resources, and the foods can be made ahead, unlike what I was doing befire. There are cookis and desserts in there as well so it is easier to deal with the social stuff. She makes this doable and healthy so if food allergy elimination is a concern I highly recommend this.
