Hi Folks,

I've been reading posts for about a month. I started CR about 30 days ago. I'm using Walford's diet planner, a Zone type approach and am supplementing with life extension foundation's multi's as well as pharm. grade fish oil, 1/2 an asprin, and a time released C plus Tums as needed to make my calcium intake requirements. I've also taken some whey protein to make up any protein shortages.

Before starting CR, my Cholestral level was 190, yesterday it tested at an astonishing 116.

I've been loosing weight a bit too fast, having lost 14 pounds in 30 days. But with the Zone type meals (I say type because I'm eating my own food, just with their ratios), I don't have any hunger, weakness or headaches and I wondered everyone's option if this is okay at first. Energy levels seem fine and Blood Glucose is about 79 upon waking, peaking at 110 after a meal quickly stablizing to about 85-95 and staying around there between meals and snacks. I'm avoiding most grains and sticking with low glacemic foods except a slice of whole grain light wheat bread once a day or so. (Does anyone know of a low glycemic bread?)

I believe my set point to be between 155-165, started the CR at 184, now at 170 pounds. Weight loss slowed down at 174 to about 1/3 pound per day whereas it was near 1/2-34 pound early on.

My Tanita TBF-621 (non-athelete) shows me at about 20-24% body fat currently. I just got it so I don't know where I started.

Calorie intake is about 1200-1500 per day, I don't know, but I guess my Pre-CR intake was about 2,500-3000.

I'm targeting stablization around 150...is this too high for a full CR effect? (I'm male, 5-8 with a small frame [bone] structure).

Just to say to all I enjoy the "success storys" and other posts that helped me elect to stick with CR for the long run.

Thanks,
