Patty,

I have a strong suspicion that some urinary problems

are caused by silicone, and other implant materials,

in the urine that irriates the system. . .

Drinking lots of water can help keep it diluted.

I try to keep my urine a very light color. If I don't

I experience some bladder discomfort.

Hugs,

Rogene

There must be some autoimmune link with the bladder/kidneys. I had a

cluster of autoimmune issues and IC. All of the other autoimmune problems

have been completely gone for several years, the IC still plagues me from

time to time, although not nearly as painfully as it did before detoxing.

Kenda,

I think you are right. I need to do some research into this

kidney/autoimmune disease connection. It is just too coincidental

and too prevalent amongst us for there not to be some sort of factor

there, some common denominator.

I am so happy that you have healed so well, and that you are proof

that autoimmune conditions can go into remission! Our greatest

asset is hope for our recovery, so success stories are like food for

the soul.

Hi Everybody,

Just checking in here and very very interestingly.... I must tell you that I am having some wierd possible kidney situation going on. I had a bunch of new blood tests run because my doc suspected possible 's disease or at the very least adrenal fatigue. So, anyway the ACTH test came back normal but the doctor was perplexed by the fact that my aldosterone barely responded even after being stimulated by the ACTH.

Cutting to the chase..... It appears I may have this thing called hyporeninemic hypoaldosterone. Basically there is something MAJOR going on with my kidneys and this can be caused by a major toxic exposure, such as a heavy metal (like lead). I am a bit of a mess lately. Seems that alot of my original symptoms have returned but most have gone away. I really don't know what is going on. Kinda gave up on detoxing for awhile since I thought maybe I was cured.... guess not.

Hope you all are well or on you way to being there.

Hi Dawn!

I have never heard of that. What is the treatment and prognosis? Do you

think maybe the detoxing kept the symptoms at bay and they returned when you

stopped?

I'm sorry you're having problems.

Dawn,

It seems like it never ends, doesn't it?

Platinum is a heavy metal used as a catalyst to make

silicone a solid.

Cilentro is supposed to be excellent at removing heavy

metals from the body.

Dawn,

I purchased something from Nature's Sunshine called Heavy Metal

Detox, and one of the ingredients is Cilantro. I can't attest to

how it works, because I'm in this limbo state - worried to try

anything because sometimes my hormones get messed up when I

introduce anything new into my system.

Hi Kenda,

Believe me, I have never heard of it either. I don't really know what the prognosis is yet or how it is treated. For all I know I could have 's that is not being unmasked by the ACTH test... because low aldosterone does show up most times then, I think.

It does seem that when I let up on the detoxing whatever this is got worse.

Hi Sis,

I am familiar with Cilantro... my alternative MD had me get some to try and detox the platinum. I thought I was all cured though so I didn't try it.

Thanks...

Hi Dawn,

I've been coming to this site for about 4 months now, I think -

probably after you had your explant. Would you be willing to share

your story, so I'm more familiar with it? I got my implants in May

of 2005 and immediately had symptoms, and they continued to get

progressively worse, and after six months I had them explanted by

Dr. Feng. I'm still suffering from symptoms, but it's only been a

little more than 2 months. This year has been such a nightmare.
