Guest guest
I have quite low blood pressure naturally. My latest reading was 110/55, but I've also had readings at 90/50 or even 80/50. First question: Is there a certain point where low blood pressure is bad? Second question: Since blood pressure doesn't seem to be an issue, should I worry about salt intake? I love salt and it really helps me enjoy and feel satisfied with lower-calorie and lower-fat foods. Sprinkling a baked potato with salt and nutritional yeast makes butter unnecessary for me! Besides the blood pressure issue, is there any other reason to avoid salt? I also eat quite a bit of potassium, which should balance out some of the sodium intake, correct? Any thoughts on this issue are welcome.
