Guest guest
As most all here know I have to be a huge fan of the high gamma vitamin E because my son Tanner appears to regress on the higher alpha that some here give their child. I'm curious if there is a difference in ages or time on fish oils that makes the higher alpha vs higher gamma work better for your child. So please do let us know as unlike the fish oils the vitamin E is still pretty new here. I use the high gamma tocepherol from Vitamin World -Myra just posted she uses the one from Vitamin Shoppe -and you are getting the even high gamma from vitacoast. Actually the dosages from the Vitamin Shoppe and the Vitacoast may be around the same both with a higher gamma to alpha? what were you using up till now and did it work well? Myra did you ever try a 1/1 gamma or a higher alpha? And let us know how this other formula works for you. Anyone else? I know there are a few others that played around with the vitamin E formula (not as much the dosage as many are not using super high) But please post here if you are noticing more with a higher alpha or a higher gamma or pure alpha? Tanner for whatever reason needs at least 1/1 alpha to gamma. I just posted how I went to the Vitamin Shoppe (outside our mall) and bought Dr. Ron's Unique E which is almost equal alpha to gamma -but a bit higher alpha and Tanner said his speech was " shot to heck " as he got a bit " bumpy " Once on the higher 1/1 alpha to gamma (we use the Vitamin World one) he was back to normal. But I have yet to try a higher gamma to alpha as you both are- but very intrigued and curious as to what you both (or anyone else) notice if you tried other formulas. Speaking of higher gamma -may want to read this " go for gamma " article http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0854/is_5_26/ai_n18615784 Here's a quick sample of the three alpha gamma formulas. To me it's not about the difference in the few dollars as much as which one works the best -and are all good quality does anyone know? Myra's http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=VS-1882 (don't know how I missed this one the day I bought the Dr. Ron's Unique E at Vitamin Shoppe that didn't work for Tanner) 's http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Gamma-E-Tocopherol-Complex#IngredientFacts mine http://www.vitaminworld.com/pages/file.asp?PID=1111 & CID=781 & CPID=2112 Doesn't mean we can't all switch if we find out one is better! Also keep in mind that there's that new formula that has the fish oils and vitamin E combined -should hear more on that early next week. =====
