Guest guest
Hi Iveta, My son was initially assessed through our local Regional Center. He was diagnosed with an Expressive Language Delay. He started getting occupation and speech therapy when he was 2. This I suspected apraxia. I asked them about it and they told me they were not qualified to make a diagnosis. We FINALLY got an official diagnosis from a developmental pediatrician. Upon telling the OT and ST that he had received an official diagnosis, they said that they had known it all along. Very frustrating. I would adivse all mom's to go straight to a dev. pediatrician. Good luck. Tracey
