Guest guest
My son (he'll be 5 tomorrow) has been going to speech therapy for about 2 years now, and OT for about a year, as well as special ed preschool for about 1.5 years. His OT had noticed he has some problems focusing, tracking and " converging " with his vision. We took him to a pediatric optometrist yesterday who said she would recommend vision therapy for him. This would be one 30-minute session a week for 18-36 weeks. Unfortunatly his insurance (medicaid) will not cover it. It costs around $70 per session. Has anyone here taken their child to vision therapy - if so for how long and did you feel it was beneficial? Would love to hear from anyone about this. Thank you - Janice
