Insulin sensitivity/resistance may explain the difference between those who don't look twice at a cookie and those of us who live for the next carbo high. Unstable blood sugar could be the culprit for those who crave the carbs. Glutamine has been mentioned as another supplement that keeps the blood sugar levels stable and prevents carb cravings.
