Guest guest
Thank you Beverly and Kerry, From what you all have said it sounds like it will not be like I have been imagining. I thought I was going to be unbearably ill the whole time. I hope it helps me I need to feel well enough to go to work. But even if it doesn't I had to try. Thanks,

Youth Dew, for instance, is the definitive LOUD and IN YOUR FACE fragrance imo. Yet if I spray the air in front of me, wait two beats for the heavier droplets to fall and walk thru the remaining mist, it only leaves a very faint hint of the scent on me. Enough so that its only a very appealing whiff if someone gets close. Whereas one spritz of the fragrance is stomach turningly much, that slight mist is really nice. Its seems that most people apply the same amount of fragrance every time, regardless of what the fragrance is. If they apply 2 spritzes of scent A, its guaranteed that they will do likewise when applying scents B thru Z, never realizing that fragrances, just like spices and herbs, have differing strengths, and where you can add 2 tablespoons of parsley to your pot of soup, and simply enhance it,. doing the same with pepper will near kill you when you eat it Elle

Not really. They are *very* strong, and introduce themselves with a blast. One I remember from the 80's is Wrappings by Clinique. I got some as a gift. No matter how little I put on my wrists, it reeked for a meter around me, at least. And persisted all day. And lasted even after I washed it off. Probably has a half-life of 10 years :-) Youth Dew, for >instance, is the definitive LOUD and IN YOUR FACE fragrance imo. Youth Dew is the original 'too strong'perfume, as I remember my mother, a lover of loud perfumes complaining about it decades ago. If she complained about something, it really had to stink, she's the type that thinks Limburger cheese is a nice breakfast snack, to be eaten while drenched in " Toujours Moi " . Any perfume can be 'muted' by using the spray-and-walk method you mention, but how many people do you think do that? 1 in a 1000, I bet. The rest blast away. >Whereas one spritz of the fragrance is stomach turningly much, that slight >mist is really nice. Again, that may be subjective. The heavy chypre note in Fendi, for instance, will always turn my stomach, even if I only catch a tiny whiff of it. It's too medicinal, sharp and hmm, what's the other word? Astringent. >Its seems that most people apply the same amount of fragrance every time, >regardless of what the fragrance is. I assume that the list is this quite because a) we're all really healthy; and we've been spending so much time watching what's going on in the Gulf Coast. Have any of you found ways to be helpful there? Have any of you been directly affected. Nice to hear from you Cheryl, R
Guest guest
The only way we here in Nova Scotia can help was to donate to the Red Cross, I was surprised when I called with my donation to the Canadian Red Cross the American Red Cross answered.. I also see the Doctors Nurses and supplies that have been sent from NS cannot be used unless they are given out by the American Army, and that the Doctors and Nurses and emergency task force (used in Asia this year) cannot be used to help the sick and elderly because they are not American. I wish we could do more.. it is a shame politics get in the way. At least the divers from Halifax are able to clear the Harbour My heart bleeds for these folks Skip --- rrockef1 <rrockef1@...> wrote: > > Date: Mon, 12 Sep 2005 22:09:18 -0400 > > From: " Cheryl-Anne Simoneau " > <cheryl.simoneau@...> > > Subject: Research into Rac GTPase Protein for CML > > > > Hey Folks, > > > > I haven't posted in a while.
