Guest guest
, Hi! How are you guys doing? I appreciate your response to some of my recent posts regarding teaching my boys how to ride a trike. Can you tell me where you got your Listening program? Do you have bone conduction headphones? Thanks, Dana bigcheech91 <bigcheech91@...> wrote: If the seller has all the information that comes with it, you can easily do it on your own. We had one consult with the SLP and are now doing it at home as per the protocol in their instructions. I recently started doing it with my NT three year old as well. Guest guest
We got ours through the NACD. We use really good headphones, but not bone conduction. The SLP at NACD said that our level of processing difficulty did not merit the expense. For those of you buying TLP in the grey market (ebay etc.): keep in mind that you will need to use good to excellent headphones, and not the cheapo ones that sometimes come with CD players. We bought the more expensive ones offered by NACD because we thought we might have to do it in the car (not recommended). We haven't done it in the car, but they are useful for us anyway because we have a lot of " ambient " noise in our house (aka loud siblings). The cheaper option was about $100. The CD player doesn't have to be special -- just a good Sony that costs about $50 at Best Buy. I can't think of anything else pertinent right now, but if you have more questions, let me know. in NJ > > , > > Hi! How are you guys doing? Guest guest
What headphones are you referring to? Lori told me there was only one approved set for TLP Level 1. They are $110 but I lucked out and got them on sale at amazon for $70.
Guest guest
Hmmm. Got them from Lori for $180. She did recommend the $110 ones, but I mentioned the whole car thing... in NJ > > What headphones are you referring to? Lori told me there was only one > approved set for TLP Level 1. Guest guest
What was $180? She told me the old approved ones could be used in the car as they were more closed. Those, a gift from the OT, were $70 regular price. I think you may have gotten robbed! > > > > What headphones are you referring to? Lori told me there was only one > > approved set for TLP Level 1. Guest guest
Ours are more like professional DJ quality ones. We really turbo headphones to screen out the other three children who are playing nearby, and they are super comfortable as well. I'm happy to be robbed on this one. in NJ > > > > > > What headphones are you referring to? Lori told me there was only > one > > > approved set for TLP Level 1.
