Guest guest
You know I get so creeped out reading some of these posts because guess what we are working on now?? Visual Processing!! UGH The kid does ok with basic black & white pictues, throw color in there and he is lost, add more detail and forget it! He can barely do the toddler look and find books. The therapist OT said today to go to B & N and pick up a book (you have to use these beads to make the critters that are in the can't tell you as the notebook is with the kid at school. I think I will " find " some money and go do that!! OK what other " issues " become apparent over time? UGH Thanks > > PS.... > > Just to let you know.... I don't anticipate that Mark will have any trouble driving unlike many of the dyspraxic older children and young adults on the families board. I know that driving and learning to drive is a major issue on the dyspraxic adults board as well. > > You should see Mark in a go cart! He is amazing! BUT.... prior to working his vision, there would have been no way that I would have let him go go-carting; he was too visually impaired..... just to let you know. This is what daily home therapy has done for my boy! > > Janice > Mother of Mark, 13 >
