Guest guest
April, thanks so much for sharing this. My 2 1/2 year old has feeding issues and for a long time one set of professionals has pushed the feeding program at the local hospital but we have resisted. We felt her feeding problems were likely related to everything else (Global motor planning issues, apraxia, low tone, sensory issues) and over the past 8 months everything has improved...except her feeding. So we are considering the feeding program again. However, we've never heard anyone say they had a positive experience with one- even when it worked they all seem to have reservations. Your experience gives me hope. Thanks. > > Just taking a moment to brag about our son's graduation from Feeding > Therapy at JFK in Edison NJ. was dx in March of 07 with feeding > issues primarily aversions to food and textures and the inability to > chew evenly on both sides etc. He had a feeding eval done and we > targeted several areas and placed a lot of challenges ahead of him. > Our Therapist made learning fun and easy.
