Hi, all.

I am really interested in how I can find a PROMPT therapist in the Tampa area.

Do you know how I can find one via the Internet or some other resources.

I am also interested in any Apraxia clinic in my area. I have not heard about

any clinic in either category in area even if my son and daughter just started

with ABA recently in lieu of regular speech therapy that they have been

receiving for more than one year.

Prompt therapy rocks in my book as well with the right therapist and

we

had her. I believe it is not the only way is all I was saying. The 3

month evals at NACD do not just address speech. Since my kid had/had

global tone stuff a comprehensive eval was needed to cover all areas.

Consequently speech production, articulation and motor planning were

improved. He can say anything he wants. The articulation is pretty darn

good but just recently I needed to interpret twice. The motor planning

lags a little. That, I am told, relates to his AP issues, which we are

working on.
