Many parents have expressed an interest in attending the PROMPT Parent

Workshop,

I am happy to inform you that I will be able to provide the 2 day workshop

with two alternative sets of dates.

Date: April 07 and April 12 (Saturdays)

Time: 8:30am-12:00pm for both days

Place: New Jersey Pediatric Feeding Associates

Fees: $150 per parent, plus $50 for parent manual as required by the

PROMPT® Institute

**In order to allow each parent ample time for learning and asking

questions, the workshop is limited to 6 parents per Saturday.

Major Focus of the Workshop: To develop a home program to support ongoing

therapy OR to develop a home program where no local support is possible..

Objectives:

· Describe PROMPT as a philosophy, and approach to

assessment and treatment.

· Help each parent/caregiver assess their child/adult from

a holistic and motor-speech perspective.

· Share specific treatment ideas to help each

parent/caregiver develop a home program for their child/adult.

· Teach selected, appropriate prompts (Parameter, Surface)

to support the child or adult through the developed routines or

activities.
