Just to back up and Liz and the others who have also found value in

the Dr. Bock book: Healing the New ChildHood Epidemics - 4 A disorders, both

my MD and my DAN! (Natropath) used the same word " brilliant " of the book and

told me I had to read it. My MD had the chapter of the safer shot vaccine

copied out as a hand out to parents. This from a peditrician in the same

group as the former President of the Academy of Peds.

Of course I know that candida is yeast -so out of the 17 (not seven -

seventeen) reasons for an " itchy " boy I missed it. Probably because

it wasn't one of the diagnosis that wasn't hyperlinked to more

information like most of the rest of the 17 reasons? I did not read

the page -looked at it and then posted it for reference which I ask

others to do and appreciate that some are now doing just that. So

thank you for that.

God really has a sense of humor in that today I got together with a

friend and her 3 year old daughter. Her daughter walked in my house

and I saw her touch herself so I asked if she needed to go to the

potty and the mom told me that she has a horrible rash and thinks it

was an infection -urinary tract infection. We went to the mall

together and this little girl needed to go to the bathroom every half

hour. I don't know if that was one of the 17 reasons either -but I

know this mom is taking her to the pediatrician.

So perhaps next time a child is itchy, boy or girl, it's best to take

the kid to the doctor and find out which of the numerous reasons why.

I've had several UTI's, and none of them itched or produced a rash.

I too am glad she's going to the doctor. I don't recall anyone

saying not to go to a doctor. Yeast, in fact, can cause UTI's by

getting into the urinary tract. I cite myself as the source, since

it happened to me and was dx'd by my midwife. Would you like her

name and phone number to confirm that I'm being accurate?

By the way, I missed the apology.

I, for one, cannot quite believe that we are having this dispute. I

thought that it was fairly common knowledge that yeast was the most common

cause of genital itching for both men and women?

I feel like I'm watching with my children argue here, small little minutae

in order to 'pick' at one another.

What is happening to this group these days?

.... I rarely read a post that is kindly written by you these days.

Perhaps you need a break from all of this? I see you fighting with almost

all of the moms.

Janice,

So glad you're back! Tyler had his first NACD evaluation the same

day Mark had his, but we were in PA. I am in the process of setting

up a blog to follow our NACD program progress in a more appropriate

forum. We just received the handwritten " sloppy copy " of the

program, and there are a number of speech activities that might be of

interest to some here. Will post details soon. (Just trying to

figure out the technology right now.)
