Guest guest
Hi : I was reading through your message and saw that you are doing 1tsp of omega 3,6,9 and haven't seen much progress with it. You may want to tweak this formula and add more ProEPA. 1tsp of omega 3,6,9 = 5 ProEFA capsules. Many, not all, have found the formula of 2 ProEFA + 1 ProEPA to work. You mentioned multiple doses and some have supplemented 3 capsules at breakfast, lunch and dinner bringing the total of capsules to 9. For my son the extra Omega 3 from ProEPA really helped with speech. If you were to try this formula you would need to add 3 ProEPA capsules to your 1tsp of Omega 3,6,9. I spread my dosing out in the day and give my son 3 at breakfast and 3 at dinner. It is a lot of trial and error and finding out what works best for your child, but you may get better speech adding in the ProEPA. As for Vitamin E, my son could tolerate 400iu, but couldn't tolerate 800iu of d-alpha. I switched him to d-alpha/high gamma mix 200iu and 200mg gamma and he does a lot better on that. It was a subtle change on the 400iu and it was very obvious with articulation when I switched him. You will also have to tweak this to find out what works best for your child. Some children do fine on just the d-alpha and some children like mine need the equal ratio of d-alpha and gamma. I buy mine at Vitamin Shoppe. Here is the link: http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/search/en/query.jsp? q=high+gamma & intsource=main & x=28 & y=13 You can buy it in 200iu or 400iu. Hope this helps you, Tina > > (5) My son has been on 1 tsp. of liquid Omega 3-6-9 since last Spring > and I've seen no major benefits for either of my dyspraxic boys. > (You can go to Nordic Natural website and look at how concentrated > the tsp. of Omega 3-6-9 is.)
