Guest guest
, I think the omegas definitely help the brain (as well promote well being in other aspects). Vitamin E makes sense too. A neurologist told me that she thought the vitamin E helped my daughter's brain cysts (from an apparent bleed prior or during a tramatic birth) heal since the second MRI showed that some of the cysts had disappeared or greatly decreased. Now, why so many kids see great progress in speech from the omega supplementation, and others don't or like my daughter saw great (I thought miraculous) progress to only have it level off or regress, I don't know. But I really believe there is something else we are missing that the kids that don't see any progress or continued progress, need. I am really hoping that with further research, this can be figured out. In the meantime, we continue with the fish oil because it is good for her general well being, and who knows, maybe the progress with come back for scientific reasons unknown to me. Guest guest
Hi Tina, Yes, I've had my boys on 1 tsp. of Omega 3-6-9 liquid for a long time. A couple weeks back after joining this group and reading thru everything I started to add the ProEPA and vitamin E. I used up my NN Omega 3-6-9 liquid (which for me never went rancid as I was giving 1 tsp. every day to both boys...therefore I went thru a bottle every 22 days or so.) Anyway, now I'm using the Omega 3-6-9 capsules and giving him 2 after breakfast, along with 1 Pro EPA, along with 1 vitmain E (400 IU). Then at night I'm giving him 2 more Omega 3-6-9 capsules along with a Pro EPA capsule. So there's my dosing right now. Which I could say I'm seeing something miraculous. I know I may need to go up to 6 of the 3-6-9 capsules, and 3 of the Pro EPA capsules....along with uping the vitamin E. But I'm giving this new mix a try ...but not sure for how many weeks? Thanks again, Tina! > > > > (5) My son has been on 1 tsp. of liquid Omega 3-6-9 since last > Spring > > and I've seen no major benefits for either of my dyspraxic boys. > > (You can go to Nordic Natural website and look at how concentrated > > the tsp. of Omega 3-6-9 is.) Guest guest
If you go high with the E, you may want to add vitamin K for clotting. There is probably something in the files about why. We saw weird red bruises at the higher doses of E. in NJ > > > > > > (5) My son has been on 1 tsp. of liquid Omega 3-6-9 since last > > Spring > > > and I've seen no major benefits for either of my dyspraxic boys. > > > (You can go to Nordic Natural website and look at how > concentrated > > > the tsp. of Omega 3-6-9 is.)
