welcome to the newbies.....

a short update and a question:

by tomorrow morning we will have already tapered off all meds .

we don't see yet any changes for the worst in his outbursts with the drop of

Risperdal yet, but taking the Clonnirit off has already resulted in a

resurge of his worst tics.

Ds himself says he feels generally better without the meds, but has more

tics.....

yesterday another hematoma (well, purpura would be the precise term as it

is flat) showed up on his arm.

the blood test results were LOST in the lab so we had to repeat them this

morning (yes, I am mad).

I sent a previous post with an update but did not get any responses, so I am

posting again - Is anyone familiar with or know about such a phenomeon:

spontaneous hematomas (red and purple marks on the skin like a bruise, but

without any known injury injury) ??????? his clotting factors weer ok, his

blood count points to something viral. we are awaiting teh results of teh

liver function tests.
