Guest guest
, thanks for the sites, added them to my favorites file! Can't ever have too much info on this subject! With my son, he tested high in some areas, weak in others. They (the school) say he's learned to compensate for his weak areas, which I've read kids can do. Anyway, always interested in the Twice Exceptional sites! > Hi, > > I thought lots of you would find this article about > " enabling " very interesting and familiar: > > http://www.hoagiesgifted.org/enabling.htm > > I've also found some great sites on twice exceptional
Guest guest
, thank you so much for those links! Sometimes when I'm fighting for my child's rights (and why does it always have to be a fight?), I know I'm not articulate enough. Sometimes I just lack the words or terminology. Sometimes I just get too upset, and then I cry or get mad. I wish that for years I had had this kind of information as a back-up. Again thanks! > Hi, > > I thought lots of you would find this article about > " enabling " very interesting and familiar: > > http://www.hoagiesgifted.org/enabling.htm > > I've also found some great sites on twice exceptional > kids that I think some of you old hands might know about > but were fascinating to me: > > http://www.ditd.org/Cybersource/record.aspx? sid=11330 & scat=902 & stype=110 > (this whole site is very interesting) > > http://li-teca.org/secondlook.html > >
