My name is JoAnne LaGreca and my son ph is 8. ph is diagnosed with high functioning autism, but he seems to have more in common with Aspergers children as best I can tell. He is fully mainstreamed with an aide. We held him back a year, so he will be entering second grade. So far he is doing well academically. He pretty much hates sports but has interests in animals and science, although video games of late have taken over most of his interest! His issues are by and large social in nature and I think he will always be " different. " I just wanted to say hello! We have a lot to learn!
