Guest guest
I am absolutely appalled with what he said to you!! I am very familiar with the OAAC list he refers to. In my opinion someone needs to knock him down a few notches. He is NOT God's gift to advocates, believe me I know some good ones. I also agree that we need a privacy " clause " in the loop rules. I was incorrect in assuming that it was already there. That is the way it is on all the other lists I belong to. I can definitely say I don't feel comfortable posting anything on this list that I would wish to keep private. --I am very sorry this happened to you. MISSY SAHM to some special kids!!! Guest guest
This is absolutely horrifying. And he calls himself a professional. I wonder if there is an organization that oversees " advocates " like him that you could report this to. Patti R. Re: Another Victim - Yes to Vindication!!! Guest guest
, This guy sounds totally sick. If I were going to use him before, I certainly wouldn't now, after seeing that unprofessional blowup. And I'm shocked that your email was sent to this guy without your permission. We don't do that to each other here. I'm sorry. :-( Liz " L. " wrote: > Below is 's last correspondence to me in which he insults me, my son, my abilities as a home educator, and uses vulgarities. It was forwarded without my permission. My son's school was, at best, kind of dense and not abusive at all. Your reporting it to " the feds " (whatever that means) is patently ridiculous. At BEST it was a disagreement about how to handle my son's violent outbursts. I have ZERO ill will toward these people; I actually believe homeschooling is the best educational option for children with Asperger's, so I'm not at all upset at " having " to homeschool. My privacy has now been invaded twice - first by the inconsiderate person who forwarded my post to you without my permission, and now you, reporting my son's school without knowing ANY of the facts of the case involved. This is extremely irresponsible of you. > > Besides which, how do you even know what school to report? I certainly never mention it, or my full name, or my son's, in any of my e-mails. Guest guest
The job of an advocate is to either help or step aside. When you do help you can only do so within the boundaries of which the parent feels comfortable in. He is far from what I would call a professional advocate. I had thought about leaving the OAAC list but that would be stupid. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on there I can learn from.
