Guest guest
Hi all, I can't keep up with this busy group so hope I haven't missed a recent discussion on this. Do any of your AS kids just ever seem at a loss to doing things for themselves??? (14.5) also has OCD and I can tell (or ask) if his being unable to do some things is OCD related. But simple things like: getting a drink for himself (requiring getting up, going downstairs, getting cup, drink, pouring....) or getting himself something to eat (cooked or noncooked) or anything that just seems " complicated " for some reason. He HAS just begun brushing his own teeth more (he will ask me to as I do it faster; motor skill in this area still seems difficult, don't know). Anyway, will just do " without " rather than doing " for himself. " Now my other 2 typical kids can be that way but it's just laziness. With it just seems " more to it. " Any of that make sense????
