Fania, I honestly don't think she'd be leading you on like this if they had no intention of having him next year. Hang on. And I'm holding onto that image of our sons - 25, married and computer technicians (well, maybe not married at 25!! There's plenty of time for that!) LOL! Hope you survived the heat ok. I'm hiding in the air conditioned house today. Kathy

Guest guest
What a relief. I'm sorry your art therapists upset you for no apparent reason. a > saw the principal today who smiled towards me as usual. > I asked her why we have not made an end of year meeting. she said that unbelievably the head of the dept at the municipal dept of ed, who is in charge of the aid hours etc is abroad for at least another month! > I said we should at least meet me, her, the head teacher ..... she immediately agreed and made an appointment for us fo rthe last day of school. then a young guy came into the office, and she said : " meet my son. he is 25, married and a computer technician. he had a LOT of trouble in school > and I used to be at school weekly because of him. see ? they all straighten up in the end and are good people " . > so I guess she has no intention of throwing ds out..... she needs to be a master witch to be so nice and lead me on with hidden intentions, no ? > today they had " book market " at school, each kid brought all of his used school books (they had to make sure they were neat and clean, had to erase any markings - which was enough to cause a meltdown, but we overcame it) and they sold it to each other for half the official price. this way everyone got some return on this year's books and got to buy a lot cheaper the books for next year . I was quite amazed at how calmly and seriously the children did the negotiations, and thought it was a great experience for ds (but it is a very good thing I was there to help). the school provided cotton candy and nice background music. the children use this market yearly also to sell whatever story books, board games and knickknacks they no longer want. and guess what ds bought for $2.5 USD (equivalent)???????? YOGI HO cards!!!!!!!!!! > Couldn't he sell his own and get rid of them already ????????LOL > > Going now to grandparents' home to celebrate grandma's birthday...... many cousins....lots of noise......it is EXTREMELY hot and HUMID here and she has no airconditioning............ I hope ds will be fine with it......... > > Life is tough - > but so are we ! > Fania > > >
