Guest guest
's started something that my mother (who's a retired psychiatric nurse btw) says looks like Tardive Dyskinesia. She's been making 'chewing' motions with her mouth almost constantly. I called her psych up as soon as this was discovered. Apparently this is NOT a known side effect of the medication she is on (Trileptal and Clonidine), but he was going to see if it had ever been reported. We are seeing him today and will request that she be taken off the Trileptal (since it is probably not the Clonidine as that is routinely prescribed for high blood pressure) just to be on the safe side. Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks Patti R.
