I had my mediation this morning so I am way behind in emails. I will catch up soon (fast reader, or how else could I manage this list?? lol) My mediation went GREAT!!! Yesterday morning, I got a letter from the MR/DD as we are still " discussing " whether Reece qualifies for services there or not. Well, the letter said they had given me several appt.s to choose from and I had ignored all of them. Then the guy gave me a lecture on how their time is important and they cannot continue to reserve time for us when there are other families in need. He says in the letter that he sent these times to our caseworker and not to me. Trouble is, nobody sent me any notices about any appt's at all so I had no idea we had appt's or that we had missed them. grrrrrrr. the caseworker hasn't talked to us at all about appt's. I wonder if she got the same crappy letter as I did? I bet not. I can't believe some of these people get paid for these incompetent jobs. How did Lindsey do at the doc's with her testing? I wish I had been more sure of this coming out well. lol. But now Ryder will get some stuff he needs and he will start pre0-school on time and with a signed IEP. All good things for him!
