Guest guest
Oh Fania, I am sorry M is having such a hard time. It sounds like he is having a reaction to meds... we had Zoloft and clonidine, and Nick had a manic episode that put him in the hospital. It's not that meds are bad, it was just the wrong ones for him. He is doing VERY well on Strattera. I still see the AS moments, but the violence is over, and he feels happy and good about himself most of the time. I hope you guys figure out what's going on with him soon. Sending you a big hug all the way around the world. Love, Tammy --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Sending you a big hug all the way around the world.> thnkas, Tammy, I really don't know what it is. for example, even though he used to be very sleepy after taking the pill, now that we *increased* teh dosage by only 0.25mg he can't fall asleep. not only that, but he is giddy, silly, laughing in your face when you tell him to do things etc, running away from bed and his room and hiding under a sheet as if he really believes we can't see him.,......... we are supposed to see the psychiat on thursday and today teh teacehr told me that ont hat same very day and hour teh schol has their annual show - something ALL teh kids participate it is the major event of school every year, and they are doing rehearsals daily almost all day for the whole week until thurs - great !! first he is having all this extra stress having to do rehearsals out in the sun, not having his regular classes etc for a whole week, then he won't even be able to participate..... i will try to call teh psychiat to postpone our meeting but usually you have to wait about 2 months for each appointment......... Argh.......... today though he went ot school in a calmer manner. he did not scream or screetched and got dressed all by himself and even prepared his luncheon for school. so I am hopeful........
