Guest guest
I think I missed the first thread on this topic. I must say that cartoons tend to calm my kids. My oldest will only watch Carton Network though. Not my favorite. And now my 3 yro wants to be just like big brother. We went from PBS to Cartoon Network. a > I can hear Reece screeching in the background yelling, " I hate > cartoons! Turn it off Turn it off! " lol. It's been a tough week > for him and he can't handle the toons. > >> > Poor Reece, > I can't think of a week so bad that TOONS would upset me... but that's me. > I'm addicted to old Warner Brother's cartoons... (got a copy of " One Froggy > Evening " on my hard drive... and Michigan J Frog tattooed on my chest... ) > I hope Reece has a better week next week. Guest guest
Um Terry, I would document what was said to you by the principal and file a complaint with the state department of education. Make sure the superintendant and director of special education get copies. As far as enforcing the IEP, it sounds like they should be doing a FBA (Functional Behavior Assessment) on your son. That way consistent strategies are used for the negative behaviors. They cannot legally request you to take your son home for those reasons. Request one in writing.
