Congrats on Blast Off Kim! Way to go girl! I'm sorry is still

sick. Poor kid. Can he have popsicyles? Or rice pudding? Tell him

Ihope he's better real soon.

Eleanora Thank you so much. Yes he can have popsicyles He seems a little better tonight. He even had a half of piece of bread with butter on it. I didn't have any money to go and get him any popsicyles. But Don came home and is heading down to get him some now.

Sure hope this goes away soon.

Hi Saphire,

I'm new to this board and I also started my first challenge today. I

took my free day yesterday because my family is out of town for the

4th, so I won't have a problem eating on the program. I'm sure it's

fine. You can take your free day whenever you want as far as I can

tell. I believe you are supposed to plan ahead each week so that you

can move it accordingly if you have something special coming up.

I started today doing cardio instead of weight training because I

wanted to delay one more day of going to the weight room. I'm so

intimidated because I have almost 150lbs to lose. I feel like I'll

look silly in there with all the musclemen and musclewomen. So many

people don't know that you should weight train no matter how

overweight you are and the benefits are probably best for someone my

size.

Anyway good luck on your challenge. Hopefully, no for sure in 12

weeks we'll both be posting our ending stats and celebrating our

success.

Hi Saphire - Welcome to BFL and to our group. Do what you have to do on the 4th

.... this is BFLIFE not Body for a week or 12 weeks. As long as you go back to

eating clean the next day no great harm will be done.

1st day

Hi everyone,

I started BFL today and I can't wait to see the results.The hardest

thing for me is not to eat sweets(I LOVE THEM).The onlt thing is the

4th is Thrus. I know that we will be eating something not on my list>

I really don't wont to fail .What do you think of taking that free

day on Thurs? I will not feel deprived and I know I will get right

back on track on Fri.Oh I found that I really like fruit in my

Saphire I started a new challenge today myself. Don't let barbeques tempt you I

have

one to go to this week myself and I look forward to the challenge! I have been

having a

few bad months but I am back! and going to do this and so are you!

Hi Saphire,

I am also quite new to this board too. I also started my C1W1D1

challenge on Monday. Today - Tuesday, its my 2nd day. Day1 was

good...I did weights yesterday. Today will be cardio day for me.

Like you...I am finding a little problem in cutting down on Coke. I

did not take a single drop yesterday and it nearly drove me crazy.

Every time I think of coke, I will drink water with twist of lemon.

So far, it works.

All the best on your C1. Hopefully, by the end of 12 weeks, we will

be beaming with pride and posting our success.

You can take the free day whenever you want. Hope itz going well for

all I was planning on that but when your sick that usually goes away

real fast. So bein sick kinda ruined that. but I drink the water.

Hey gals-

Not ever having been much of a soda drinker myself, I didn't have too

much of a problem cutting (most) of it out. I have been a Diet Coke

drinker for years, so I can't even drink the real stuff without

thinking it is too sweet. My husband, however, could drink soda like

no one's business. He really missed it the first week of BFL, but

has since weaned himself from it pretty well. He will have a soda on

free day, but that is pretty much it. I don't even know that he

really even 'likes' them anymore. Whenever we go out to eat is when

I have to have a Diet Coke. I can't pass it up if it is out of

fountain!

Has anyone seen the Energizer Bunny on crack??

Well - that was Bradley this morning.

He got up at 4:45 AM - that right - before 5 AM

and was so wound up he could barely contain himself

and then when he got to school he got all somber and

when the teacher asked him is name he would only

tell her it began with a B. ???what's that all about??

I would take a nap but today they only have a half day

and I am afraid I might oversleep.

Now - to just wait until I pick them up.

my fingers are crossed.

Bradley made me promise that I would take him to see

his pre-k teacher after school.

He sure loves that woman.

See the difference a good teacher can make??
